Marvelous McC's Visit

We made some great friends when we first moved to the Queen City. The Mc C family. We adore them. They moved back home many years ago but we have stayed good friends. They recently welcomed lovely Avery into their famiy. Exciting stuff. They came down for a lovely visit. Children played, we spent alot of time outside and mommies got precious time to just chat about life and girltalk(which I kind of live for). Megan the lovely oldest made a cake from scratch. Nick played great with my boys. and we all bonded. Highlights include Freedom Park, and an art show at the house. Each child made their own masterpiece and explained it for us. I LOVE THIS KIND OF STUFF. and we love the McC's...

A Gift from Mrs S.. CJs Kindergarten Teacher

There is nothing like Kid Art to bring a smile to weary person! My goodness, I love this so much! Mrs. S. offered a great act of love with this incredible book by CJs Kindergarten Class. He read most of the book to us which was rather exciting too. I must say my favorite is Tommy B's, who wants to be a Fashion Designer. I hope his dream comes true!

My Sweet God Daughter's Bday

My sweet little goddaughter recently turned 6. She is a sweet lovely girl. She amazes me with her ability to walk in heels already. She loves all things girly. I could not be happier about all of this! Ryan is sent from up above to be my Goddaughter! I can not wait to throw her some kind of fun Super Pink or Lavender party one day!

Happy Valentines Week

Happy Valentines Day... Week... Year. Seriously it is one of my fave holidays. I am just going to keep on celebrating. Blogging brings me such great joy. Life is not all rosey.. trust me. The few moments I get here allow me to let it be! But I am strong and always blessed nonetheless. With my guys and my God I am a-OK.

In a galaxy far far away

Countless hours were spent on Star Wars. A girly girl learned about General Palpatine, Asoko, and the Millienium Falcon. Her husband was full of pride as he dusted off toys with labels that read " MADE IN 1977" . And he was adored by his boys for being so cool! And somewhere in it all.. the girly girl learned it was actually a good way for her sweet boys to begin to learn about good and evil.
And all was good in the world! If only for just a little pink in there somewhere!!!!!!
