CJ's Performance at "B" Elementary School Zoobilee

CJ's Kindergarten and First Grade Classes presented a Holiday Zoobilee. The name came to honor their Zoo themed Holiday Extravaganza. It was fun. CJ really got into it. I take credit for these genes along with Grandpa Ken and Auntie Lori who both also have big/ wonderful personalities.

PS: CJ if you read this some day, we are so proud of you. Dance my son... dance.. life is short!

My Red Carpet - "S" Friends Holiday Party 2010

There is something about a night out.. adult only.... the opportunity to get dressed in pretty things. Going out with Chris, lovely dress, yummy food, a little local glamour and I am as happy as can be.

"S" friends are classy and so fun. They throw the most stylish party of the season in my neighborhood. Oh What FUN!

Broken!

And here it is.. the epitome of life with boys. Mason, this Tuesday, 11-2 was playing some game, had one hand on one couch, the second on another, swinging, playing with a ball... fell and

Broken leg. Cast for 4-6 weeks. Hopefully though the worst is over though. Gosh how I love this little boy!!!!!!!!

Darth and Spidey are ready for Halloween!

Halloween Hoot

Every year we enjoy the Annual Halloween Hoot at the Manor House. This year was extra special because our little spiderman won first prize in the Costume Contest. I was so nervous he would bawl his eyes out on stage, and he was fine. When I told him he won he said," Mom, can I have some candy now?"He won a gift card to Monkey Joes! Yeah Spiderman!

CJ turned Six this past week.

Today

I am a tree hugger, optimist, yoga loving, peace loving, make the world a better place- kind of chick. Today we had a chance to participate in the Mitochondrial Energy for Life Walk in our town/city. Our friend Savannah has Mitochondrial Disease and we love her and wanted to help raise money to find a cure for this stupid thing. The day just filled me with joy. We spent it outside with so many local people we love so much. They are our family. We are blessed. And I am tired. I should have stetched before the walk!


HA HA HA HA.... We were outside 99.9% of the day. I am happiest outside in the sun with my three boys. Ended the day at the pool again with some peeps we love. My heart is full of love tonight... sore, tired - 41wonderful year old muscles... but a strong heart full of LOVE and gratitude for this amazing life I live!

Felt Like I had a golf ball lodged in my throat - First Day of Kindergarten

All day today I felt as if I had a very large golf ball stuck in my throat. It is the feeling you have when you are on the verge of tears and doing everything in your power not to bawl in front of someone. I know you know this feeling, that big painful gulp feeling. That is how I felt for much of the day. CJ went to Kindergarten. It was a great day! He really liked it. His teacher Mrs. S is lovely. She sings, she is beautiful like an angel. She is a mother. She lives in my neighborhood. Our school is in our neighborhood. I love it so! The walls sparkle with newness. The teachers smile and seem to love their jobs. Yet today was HARD. I worried alot. How will he...... know to.........fill in the blank.......................

Tonight after bath I held CJ a little longer than usual. For once I was not rushing to get he and Mason to bed so I could clean something, read something, or watch something. I sat with him, and I cuddled him. I smelled his clean post bath hair. I held him so tight. And he did not see, but I cried for just a few quiet minutes with his back to me, because I am smart enough to know how precious that moment was with my sweet baby boy.............

Bobcat Buddies Kindergartener Class of 2010

WE ARE GETTING READY AND EXCITED! On Sunday, the neighborhood Kindergarteners got together for a Bobcat Buddy Playdate. It was fun. CJ is very excited. Mommy feels part excitment, a tad nervousness, and a touch sad that my baby is so grown up. But I am more excited than anything. Ah the adventure called LIFE! Enjoy your's my peeps.

Mason at three

Mason turned three on August 5th. We celebrated with three parties. One at school, one with Povs HHI, SC, and one with Cha Cha and Papa Ken in FLA. Mason at three is funny, strong willed, lover of Silly Bandz and Spiderman. He makes me laugh and makes my heart just sing. I am a lucky chick that I get to be his momma!
