Attitude of Gratitude for Thanksgiving Weekend - November 29th

Here is my final entry for my Attitude of Gratitude Series in November. Simply put I am so thankful for my family which consists of my wonderful family the Draytons and my wonderful "married in" family the Poveromos. I am very blessed to belong to two great families that love Chris and I, and the boys..so very much. Thanksgiving was a blast. We celebrated with the Poveromos and celebrated two birthdays as well. The pics tell the story....

Weekend Review - November 24th, Monday

Ok this will be a quick post. This is a very busy and fun filled Thanksgiving Prep Week so there is some laundry to do, tiding up to be done etc as we prepare! Yeah...... We also had a great weekend. We spent much of it with Berewick and Steel Creek Family Friends. We celebrated the recovery of our dear friend Sebastian. Sebastian invited us to his Make A Wish Party. He is recovering from a malignancy. I am sooo not medical ( I leave that to my sister who is a Dr. and my mother in law who is a nurse)....so I am not sure exactly what he had.. but my friend Amber describes it in her blog( see my blog roll "Greenawalt Family". Anyway, Sebastian is on the road to recovery and will be visiting Disney World shortly via Make A Wish. We are really excited for him and had the best time at his send off party this past weekend at Plaza Del Fiesta. It was wonderful to be able to enjoy all it has to offer! The boys also got pre Thanksgiving Haircuts, CJ had church school and we celebrated a Baptisim too! Whew......we had a blast. I love all the holiday decorations that are out already. Get read for lots of pictures of my baby boys as we celebrate for the entire MONTH starting right now! I am really excited too to celebrate Thanksgiving here in Casa Del Poveromo, Charlotte with the Poveromo side of our family... yeah.... Should be fun. We always have fun and eat alot, laugh alot and just do lots of BONDING!
I know things are wild with the economy and our nation etc and I know lots of people are struggling.. believe me I worry too. But I refuse to let it get too far into my head.... As long as I have my God, my men and my heart we will be just fine...... Happy Thanksgiving.... lots of love Gigi
