Happily 42!

I TURNED 42 years old this week on Tuesday, June 14th. I feel very much at peace. I know how to love and what it feels like to be loved, I have done some interesting things professionally, things I have loved and things I have HATED... but i learned from it all. I have traveled a bit, although there is so much more of the world I want to see. The Pov Peeps and Drays are all healthy! I live in my little Pov Place Nest with my three guys.. who are the light of my life

So happy birthday to me... happy birthday to me.. I am joyful and at peace... happy birthday to me( and I even got Wrinkle Cream in the mail!)

FOUR TIMES THE FUN: B wick Quads

My neighbor lovely "M" had quadruplets recently.... To honor the family Jackie and I hosted a little get together out our neighborhood pool. It was fun and those babies are soooo cute! I have to say Mrs. MC (aka Momma of Quads) looks absolutely amazing. She wore a lovel black one piece and a fabulous hat. She is a mother to five children under three. Can you say AHHHHHH----- MAZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ- ING?!!!!!!!!!!!!

How do you capture a month of LIFE?

Exciting, busy, Mother's Day, Memorial Weekend,11 Years of Marriage- Anniversary, Field Day, getting ready for summer and 1st grade, HOMEWORK, Yoga, prayer, sun salutations, gardening, flowers, Saturday night DVDs with my guy, meals for mom's, planning parties, celebrating quadruplets in Berewick, Garage Sales, Firetrucks that shoot water, soccer games, 90 degree days that I LOVE!, being outside, tan lines already, sunscreen, too busy, meditation.. trying to meditate.... end of year stuff, yearbooks, finding Summer Camps, registering for Summer Camps, Career Day at Berewick, All the Places You will Go, Play Therapy Lessons taught by Ms. Emily, thinking about first grade teachers.... Berewick PTA, Berewick School Leadership Team, Counseling Classes, new opportunities, being present, not being present but saying.. "It is OK anyway".... being sad, happy, peaceful all in one week!Porter Paint: Chipmunk and Puppy Paws... creating a serene bedroom.. well almost serene...YOGA Class, not being able to do poses, watching others and my mind thinking : "THEY DO THIS BETTER THAN I DO!"" ...... excitement... creating new stuff.....new teachers, transistions..... summer reading books....planning the summer, watering plants...... dreaming of Lettuce Wraps and Mexican Food, the awesome recipe my neighborhood girlfiends have for Buffalo Chix Dip, Chanel Exhibit and Morocco, Real Housewifes of NY(love them), Bib Necklaces, Art, School Curriculm, less testing.. more fun! Deep Breaths ALWAYS DEEP BREATHS... feeling amazingly peaceful right now....! Namaste

Hallelujah Easter - 2011

I have to tell you Easter Mass at St. Peters Catholic Church Uptown was amazing. The church was packed and at the end the choir sang the Hallelujah Chorus. I have heard it before but this time I got chills. It was really majestic and beautiful. I could feel God's presence in the room and within me. It was an amazing feeling. I am pretty good at finding those moments where I can just feel goodness. Easter was amazing. I ate mom's food, my parents taught us more about being green thumbs.

I am just a very lucky girl I know. So much to be thankful for!

The Povs Discover... Discovery Place!

One of the things I love about parenthood is that life is an adventure with kids in many ways! I love taking the boys for a day trip to a park or zoo or museum. I love learning! I really do... I am always just curious about how things work, how they came to be etc. The boys seem to enjoy it too! Charlotte is a great place to live! There truly is a lot for a family to do. Last week, Daddy was away on contract/consulting gig he has once a year. So the rest of us went to play and learn at the Discovery Place. It was FAB!

The life update is: Life is insane at times, overwhelming at other times...fun/boring/amazing.... hard/lovely but heck.. isn't that part of it all, really?

The goal for me is always to create the calm in the storm. I wish for you all CALM. Om, deep breathe from the belly... Om, namaste(the divine in me honors the divine in you)...

Marvelous McC's Visit

We made some great friends when we first moved to the Queen City. The Mc C family. We adore them. They moved back home many years ago but we have stayed good friends. They recently welcomed lovely Avery into their famiy. Exciting stuff. They came down for a lovely visit. Children played, we spent alot of time outside and mommies got precious time to just chat about life and girltalk(which I kind of live for). Megan the lovely oldest made a cake from scratch. Nick played great with my boys. and we all bonded. Highlights include Freedom Park, and an art show at the house. Each child made their own masterpiece and explained it for us. I LOVE THIS KIND OF STUFF. and we love the McC's...

It is beautiful out this Saturday. I am feeling happy and blessed. Be well dear readers. Wanna know what I really want to do?
